At work our primary product is in a django application. This has given rise to what I see as a big-ball-of-mud architecture. This has made me re-think how to do architecture and what good and bad patterns look like. I am currently researching domain driven design, reading Robert Martin’s book Clean Architecture and thought this would be a good place to start writing my thoughts and keeping notes on resources that I’m using.
First off is the big ball of mud.
Here is a great conference called DDD Euorope from 2020 in which Eric Evans (the author of Domain Driven Design) gives several talks that are really helping me to get my head around DDD.
